General Directorate of Internal Operations

1. The General Directorate of Internal Operations is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the operation of all the organic units that fall under it, ensuring their orderly operation and dealing with problems and cases of their competence, especially in terms of improving administrative capacity of the Region and the provision of effective, efficient services to better serve the citizen, through the reorganization of its units, the redesign of their processes, the consolidation of transparency and accountability, the continuous improvement of the capacities and skills of its human resources, the design and implementation of innovative services using IT and communication technologies. 2. The General Directorate collaborates with the General Directorate of Development Planning, Environment and Infrastructure in the planning, processing, implementation and evaluation of projects and actions in the field of its thematic object. 3. To the General Directorate of Internal Operations, all the responsibilities provided for in accordance with articles 25 and 69C of Law 4270/2014, as amended by Article 58 of Law 4438/2016, are transferred and distributed, and are valid. 4. The head of the General Directorate of Internal Operations, is appointed responsible for the Financial Management of the Organization`s Finances, in accordance with the above provisions.
